Below are descriptions and information Yoga: With all the varieties of yoga out there, sometimes it's hard to know which one to try. My advice? Try them ALL! Chances are, you will either click with a certain style, LOVE an instructor, or maybe- you like them ALL! Either way, give each class a try until you find the one (or many) that speak to YOU. Namaste! Beginner Yoga: If you are new to yoga this class is for you. You will learn the basics of yoga postures and breathing techniques. You will leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated from head to toe! Candle Light: Candlelight yoga is soothing to the senses. Practicing yoga in a candle lit environment helps one to block out distractions and truly focus on what their body needs that day. The class will begin with a strong standing sequence to help strengthen the body and connect with the breath, followed by deep stretches to unlock tight muscles and relieve stress. Open to Everyone! Core Vinyasa with inversions: This class is a vinyasa based class that focuses on the core strength and activation of muscles to achieve inversions and arm balances while practicing vinyasa. Very fun and very energetic~Suitable for yogis' with a consistent practice of 6 months or more. Gentle: Enjoy a slower paced vinyasa class focusing each time on a particular pose or area of the body. The class will include vinyasa flow, pranayama (breath work) and also you will learn some basic yoga philosophy. This is a great class for beginners as well as seasoned practitioner. Hatha Yoga: Classes are customized for the individual person in that modifications of the same asana (pose) may be utilized when beneficial. The focus is on strength, flexibility, balance, breathing and conditioning. Classes last approximately 60 minutes and include a final relaxation at the end. Children ages 12 and up are welcome to attend with a parent. Hot Yoga: Open to all with an open mind. Hot Yoga helps to warm the body completely from the outside in. The constant attention to breath allows the participant to heat the body from the inside out. When put together you have a dynamic yoga practice that allows you to go deeper into poses while detoxifying your mind and body like no other form of exercise. A MUST TRY AT LEAST ONCE! Lunch Break Yoga: Break up the monotony of your work week by joining us for an awesome vinyasa flow class. It's just what you need to make it through the rest of the week. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Power Vinyasa: Don't let the name scare you! A power vinyasa style class is a class focusing on utilizing your breath to move you thru the movements along with helping you in the more challenging aspects of your practice. The Power comes from YOU This is a fun class open to all levels. Power Yoga for Runners: Class will be based on vinyasa principles of flow, breathing techniques and alignment, but will have a strong focus on techniques for stamina for the new to seasoned runner. Sunrise Yoga: Mixed level class. We tailor each morning class for the participants who attend. Whether you need stress relief, physical strength or breath work, this class is a perfect way to start your day. 60 minutes in length Vinyasa Flow: Flowing style of yoga utilizing the breath to link each movement. We will move quickly through the poses working our bodies into a deep sweat, while using our breath to keep our minds balanced, steady and focused. Yoga+Pranayama+Meditation: Just like the class says, we will do a powerful yoga practice, learn breathing techniques and end with a meditation. Guaranteed to leave you completely stress free! What is Pranayama? Breathing is life. It is one of our most vital functions. One of the Five Principles of Yoga is Pranayama ( Breathing Exercise) which promotes proper breathing. In a Yogic point of view, proper breathing is to bring more oxygen to the blood and to the brain, and to control Prana or the vital life energy. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yoga for Mom to be + Kids Yoga Pre/Post Natal yOga Yoga for the Mom to be and after baby. Our classes will teach you breathing techniques to relieve stress, as well as help keep you fit for baby on the way. After the birth, bring your little one and enjoy getting your strength back with baby :) Pre-registration Required $13 drop in or $65 for entire series Kids (4-9): Thursdays at 4:00 Kids (10&up)Thursdays at 5:00 Yoga for Kids is a fantastic activity. Yoga will teach children how to focus breathe and improve flexibility. We also incorporate art into their creative play to make it extra fun. -No Yoga Experience required -Children should be old enough to us the restroom by themselves. Mom and Tots This class will be a fun adventure for mom and child. Bring your toddler to enjoy playtime while you get your yoga practice too. We will incorporate them into the class with songs, dancing and a little toddler yoga. This class will be a more relaxed atmosphere to accommodate our little one attention spans and will last 45 minutes. |
